[18:10:20] <bschnei> ya just be aware it doesn't build modules. it will likely need more modifications than the superficial ones I described above in many cases. but you can also copy that in from other places too like the full linux package
[18:21:01] <bschnei> as long as you give the package a different name, you should be able to install as many kernels as you like. It's up to you to figure out how to configure the bootloader on your device to load the kernel you want. ive been very happy using bootloader->systemd boot->kernels
